Securing the Grid: Cyber Threats, Challenges and Actions in a Connected World
The 8th Cybersecurity Forum “Securing the Grid: Cyber Threats, Challenges and Actions in a Connected World’ will be jointly organised in Brussels on 30 October 2025 by the Association of European Distribution System Operators (E.DSO), the European Energy - Information Sharing & Analysis Centre (EE-ISAC), the European Network for Cyber Security (ENCS) and the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA).
As geopolitical tensions grow and the digitalisation of the energy sector advances, strengthening the cybersecurity of Europe’s energy infrastructure is more important than ever.
This year’s conference will once again bring together experts from across the energy, cybersecurity, and technology sectors to explore how Europe can accelerate the implementation of new cyber regulations, enhance cooperation between public and private stakeholders, and address the security challenges posed by evolving supply chains and digital technologies. With the increasing reliance on operational technology and interconnected systems, the event will focus on the investments and collaborative actions needed to ensure a resilient and secure energy grid.
Throughout the day, participants will benefit from engaging discussions, insightful interventions, and a hands-on demonstration illustrating how vulnerabilities in high-power consumer IoT devices could be used to disrupt the electricity system.
Looking forward to welcoming you at our autumn event in Brussels!
